There were been scattered cheers throughout the neighborhood all morning as people woke up to the news. I took a short walk to the store (Walking! In the boot, no other assistance! And it didn't use up all my spoons for the day!) and there were people waving signs and tambourines out their car windows, lots of happy honking, and someone standing outside Whole Foods literally banging pots and pans together. I was blasting "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye". :)
We are building up a new world, do not sit idly by

There is a war going on for your mind

I wish we could go to DC and bang those pots and pans as the mover take that asshole's possessions away.
I think it will be a long time before we know the depth of the wounds to to our democracy, and the world's tentative peace, that horrid man is responsible for.
The pendulum will reverse, but just to hear President Biden's calm voice, to see Harris's bouncy athletic shoes and see that spark of tiger in her eyes for 4 years - or EIGHT! is a blessing.
Between now and the time the Secret Service and the Marshal's Office have to drag him out of the WH there will be many atrocities.
