I always think it's funny how people treat LJ like it's some sort of social media punchline. Yet, here we are 14 years later, and there are still people showing up when they can't vent something on Facebook or Twitter. There isn't anything like some anonymity to make people feel safe to really talk, I guess.
Well, god bless Russia for loving LJ and keeping it alive. Like most of us here, I've never found a platform I like better, and at least there's really not any marketing crap on LJ.
